Thomas Edward Lacey

Thomas Edward Lacey, 77, of Lonsdale, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.

Thomas was born December 25, 1944 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Andrew Thomas & Dottie Bell (Kennedy) Lacey. He was a charter member of the Lonsdale Volunteer Fire Department and served as the Lonsdale City Marshall for many years. He was a devoted family man and was of the Baptist faith.

Four brothers, Thurman Lacey, Gary Lacey, Gerald Lacey and Carol Lacey, precede him in death.

Thomas is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Carol Sue (Seaton) Lacey; children, Thomas Franklin Lacey, Sr. and Penny Sue Beshears; sisters, Loretta Vaughn of Hot Springs & Loverta Cox of Lonsdale; brother Carl Lacey of Hot Springs; sister-in-law Betty Lacey; grandchildren, Brian Thomas “Tex” Lacey, Jack Edward Dewayne Lacey, Thomas Franklin Lacey, Jr., Dalton James Beshears and Shelby Nichole Ouellette; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Dalton Beshears, Will Snyder, Jack Lacey, David Lashlee, Derrick Houpt and Jessie Lynn Beasley. Honorary Pallbearers are Lyndsey Stillman, Donny Willis and Wag Gaddis.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday at Gross Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Gross Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery with full honors by the Lonsdale Volunteer Fire Department.
