Vickie Lynn Files, 67, of Magnet Cove, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in Malvern, Arkansas. She was born on August 27, 1958, in Malvern, Arkansas.
Vickie was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She shared nearly 50 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Danny Files. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories through their travels and camping adventures.
A graduate of Magnet Cove High School, Vickie dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, she enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time outdoors. Nothing brought her greater happiness than watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports, school activities, and the milestones of their lives. Her unwavering love and encouragement were gifts they will forever cherish.
Vickie was a woman of Baptist faith whose kindness, gentle spirit, and compassionate heart touched everyone who knew her. She lived a life centered on faith, family, and caring for others, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue through the lives she influenced.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Veda Mae Kennebeck; her father, J.C. Bettis; her stepfather, Don Kennebeck; her granddaughter, Riley Mae Paine; and her grandson, Cole Thomas Paine.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Danny Files of Magnet Cove; her son, Chad Files and wife, Terri Files of Little Rock; her daughter, Krissie Paine and husband, Luke Paine of Tolar, Texas; her siblings, Tina Dodwell of Hot Springs, Jimmy Bettis and wife, Joy Bettis of Magnet Cove, and David Kennebeck of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Files of Fayetteville, Laura Grace Files and Analeigh Files of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Khloe Paine and Logan Paine of Tolar, Texas. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
The family requests that memorials be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice in Vickie’s honor, reflecting her love and compassion for animals.
Vickie will be remembered for her warm smile, selfless heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she freely gave to everyone around her. Her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
