Walter retired as First Sergeant in the United States Army. He proudly served his country in both WWII the Korean War.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Hot Springs Fun City Barbershop Chorus, the American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW.
In his spare time Walter was an avid outdoorsman and a volunteer at the Caring Place and a former volunteer for the US Forest Service and St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
Meeting Walter in Heaven is his wife, Ethel Naydan.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Cassie Jane DeRosa; sons, Michael Edward Naydan (Aijun Meng) and Walter Ernest Naydan (Dianna); granddaughter, Lindsey Naydan; grandsons, Major Jason DeRosa, US Army and Bryce Naydan.
