Wilford Robert "Bob" Godwin

Bob was born March 1, 1932 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Wilford Elmer & Effie Mae (Parker) Godwin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a retired carpenter and a member of Bismarck Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Hathcoat and a stepson, James Donathan, Jr.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Ella Sue Godwin; children Linda Donahou, Michael Godwin, Eddie Godwin & Shirley Melton; stepchildren Jannie Harrington, Linda Rogers, Teresa Hayes and her husband Phillip, Vivian Dixon and her husband Tim, Dorothy Meeks and G.W. Yates.

Pallbearers are Bryan Caldwell, Cody Harrington, Michael Harrington, Travis Rogers, Chad Rogers and Blake Hayes. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Gregory Whorton, Dr. Lawrence Dodd and the staff of Arkansas Hospice.

Visitation will be Thursday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Gross Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Van Glidewell officiating. Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery.
