In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lucille McCroskey; first wife, Marjorie Ann Stephens McCroskey; one sister; and three brothers.
Vernon is survived by his daughter, Susan Paxton (Bob); grandson, Nicholas Paxton; great-grandsons; and brother, Berlin McCroskey.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 14th, 2019 at Price Cemetery with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
