

Willie was born in Bismarck, Arkansas on August 20, 1925. She married Leonard Montgomery on February 25, 1940; they were married for 49 years. Willie can be described as daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend but none of these labels tell the story of her soul. Willie was a giver and placed the need of others above herself. Caring for her parents, husband, sister, brothers (especially her baby brother), and a special friend, Jerry Ingraham, where her priority. Her light will always shine in the family and friends she touched. She was loved dearly by many.
Willie is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Montgomery; her parents, William Anthony and Lucy Anthony; brothers Earl Anthony, Ervin Anthony, Delbert Anthony, Chester Anthony, Roy Anthony; sisters Lennie Stark and Bertha Stinnett.
Willie is survived by her brother, Dale Anthony and his wife Mattie Sue Anthony of Arkadelphia; 11 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Old Bismarck Cemetery celebrating her life. Jim Shepherd will be officiating with Evan Smith and Van Glidewell assisting. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gross Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Bob Anthony, Jordan Anthony, Greg Hughes, Kyle Overturf, Andy Vaughn, Steve Mayfield, Danny Crow and Johnny Miller.
Honorary pallbearers are Greg Ingraham, Bill Dixon, Terry Eason, Dr. John Featherston and Dr. Neeraj Bharany.
The family expresses special thanks to the Gentiva Hospice staff and the National Park Medical Center staff.
