Alicia Marie Scott - Hayes

Funeral services will he observed on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Celestin Cemetery in Bobtown.

She is survived by her husband, Joshua Hayes, her son, Keondre Alkeem Scott, her mother, Mary Jane Trosclair Scott (Jean), four sisters, Barbara Scott, of Beaumont, Tx, Betty Scott-Adams and Kim Kenny of Houma LA, and Linda (Troy) Word, of San Bernardino, CA, half-siblings, Brian Dark, of San Francisco, CA, Trent Verdin, Irvin Taylor, and Chassity Davis, of Houma, LA, 13 nieces and nephews, 30 great- nieces and nephews, and one great-great-niece.

Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Irvin Scott, her maternal grandparents, Pearl Bolden and Harry Trosclair, paternal grandparents, Pinky and Aurstile Scott Sr., great grandparents, Lucy and Bush Harris, two nephews, Brandon Irvin and Jarrett Michael Scott, Aunts: Doris Trosclair Manuel, Willie Mae Trosclair Harris, Lucille Scott Shepherd, and Evelyn (Hock) Scott Aldridge, Uncle’s: Wallace Manuel Sr., Earl Bolden Sr., and Melvin Scott.
