A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at New Zion Baptist Church, 263 Grand Caillou Road, Houma, LA 70363 (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all visitors must wear face masks in building at all times and practice social distancing). Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Cynthia Lewis; sons, Corey Minor, Micheal Minor (Melissa) and Clyde Outley; daughters, Arielle Minor and Hope Wagner (Allen, Jr.); seven grandchildren; sisters, Karen Phipps (Jeffrey, Sr.), Denise and De'Shawn Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn "Bear" Mitchell; brother, Jesse Mitchell, III.; maternal grandparents, Rev. Henry, Sr. and Mattie Mae Chapman Mitchell.
