Audrey "Monie" Williams

A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting). A private service will be held. Audrey will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Pages at 11:00 A. M. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Memories of Audrey will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Caffery Williams, Sr. of Morgan City, LA; three grandchildren she helped to rear, Ronald (Chartney) Williams of Lafayette, LA, Ladarius Matthews of Houma, LA and Alexis Williams of Morgan City, LA; grandchildren, Wayne (Ketwanda) Haynes, Jr., Tamika (Dwayne) Rhodes,  Christopher Haynes, Carl Williams, Jr., Kendrick Williams, Nakita Jordan; brothers, Pastor Donald (Lena) Bogan of Thibodaux, LA, Don (Anna) Carter, Sr. of Patterson, LA, Greg Carter of Morgan City, LA and Joe (Judith) Bogan of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Marion Carter of SC, Regina Carter of Patterson, LA, Pamela (Samuel) Morrison of Morgan City, LA; fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Williams; two daughters, Angelette Haynes and Peggy Marie Williams; granddaughter, Lakisa Renek Williams; parents, Joseph Carter and Alma Jones; step-mother, Nancy Carter; brothers, Sean Carter, Jimmy Carter, Sr. and one sister, Tammy Carter.
