Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30 at the New First Corinthian Baptist Church located at 1114 Church St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her son Lawrence Kevin Townsend; and devoted godson, Kenneth Washington (Rebecca).
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Townsend, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Townsend; parents, Euarl, Sr.and Lula Mathews Franklin; brothers, Euarl, Jr. and Willie Franklin, Sr..
