Beatrice "Mu" Williams

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street in Franklin, LA., from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow funeral services in the St. John Cemetery - Pecot Street of Franklin, LA. 

Memories of "Mu," as she was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of her four sons, Terry Lewis and James Lewis both of New Iberia, LA, Larry (Gloria) Lewis of El Paso, TX and Ronnie Lewis of Sioux Falls, NE; four daughters, Gracie Spain of Beaumont, TX, Glenda Otis, Jo Anne Lee, and Hollis Lewis all of Pasco, WA; one brother, Robert Foster of Franklin, LA; two sisters, Edna Mae Brooks of New Iberia, LA and Adell Johnson of Orange, TX; forty-six grandchildren, one hundred seven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Spain; her parents, Eddie Lee, Sr. and Valinda Washington; one son, David Williams, Jr.; a daughter, Glenda Otis; sisters, Gertrude Williams, Leola Johnson, and Merdes Lee; her brothers, Eddie Lee, Jr., Albert N. Lee and Willie Lee and a niece Cheryl Ann Brooks.
