

He served this country with dignity and pride. Completing 2 tours in Vietnam and receiving 5 medals within his 6 years dedicated service.
He was a passionate man of many trades; such as Art, woodworking and cooking. Of them all, cooking was his love language and he expressed it daily. Preparing flavorful meals for his loving wife and family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Lianna B. Coleman. Daughter, Jazzmine G. Coleman. Son, Christopher Thomas (Sarah Kirby). Sister, Rosetta Coleman. Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Albertha Coleman. Sisters, Dorothy Steward and Carrie Mae Redmond. Brothers, Will Coleman Jr. and Freddie Coleman. Father in law, Melvin Beauty Sr and Mother in law, Mable Westley Beauty.
A visitation for Benjamin will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 8:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Dr, Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery.
