Benjamin Joseph Williams

​Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8594 E. Main Street in Houma. Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.

​He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Nixon Williams; sons, Benjamin and Joseph Williams; daughter, Monica W. Folse; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; godchildren, Danny McGuire, Penny N. Stewart and Cierra Nixon; brother, Walter Williams; sisters, Mary Ann Wallis, Kathryn Valentine and Gertrude (Elmo) Spruel.

​He was preceded in death by his grandson, Derek Henry, Jr.; parents, Harrison and Florence P. Williams; brother, Junius Williams; sister, Estelle W. Alvis; paternal grandparents, Harrison and Mary Williams; son-in-law, Howard J. Folse, III; brothers-in-law, Alvin Wallis, Sr. and Vernon Alvis, Sr.
