Visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at New Zorah Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial following in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Bessie leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Herman Jones, Sr., six sons; Dedric Jones, Shawn Jones, Alfred Charles, Elton Jones, Sr., Jerome Jupiter and Herman Jones, Jr., all of Morgan City, LA; two brothers, Anthony Charles, Sr., and Harold Lynn Charles, Sr; a sister, Carolyn Charles of Morgan City, LA; thirty-six grandchildren, sixty-seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albert Charles, Jr., and Irene, two sons, Wayne Charles and Brandon Jones, and two brothers, Robert Charles, Sr., and Morris Charles, Sr.
