Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St. in Houma. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her brother, David (Rementry) Holmes; sisters, Sarah Holmes and Marian H. Jones; special nephew, Rene J. (Tanya) Holmes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Webster, Sr. and Laura Moore Holmes; brothers, Rev. Isaiah S. Holmes, Sr., Clarence P. Holmes, Sr., Chester and Webster Holmes, Jr.; sisters, Agnes H. Miller, Lula H. Anderson, Myrtle H. Wolfe and Bertha H. Griffin.
