Betty Lewis, age 69, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Consolata Home in New Iberia, LA following a long illness. She was a native of Jeanerette, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30th at St. James Baptist Church in Lydia, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 10:00 Am with burial in church cemetery Betty is survived by her brother; Joseph (Alice) Colar of Jeanerette, a sister; Agnes Lewis of Jeanerette, a aunt; Irma Dugas of Jeanerette, a uncle; Henry Colar of Baldwin, La., and a host of nieces, great great nieces and special great nieces.
