Betty Griffin Mouton

Betty Griffin-Mouton, age 40, a resident of Patterson died Friday, June 25th at her resident. Visitation will be Saturday, July 3rd, at Good Hope Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 2:00 Pm. Burial in the Sheild Cemetery. Betty Jo Griffin Mouton leaves to cherish her memories her eight children, Shane Griffin of Houma, Brianna, Keenan & Anaya Griffin, Aaron, Frank, Valentina, and Christian Mouton all of Patterson; a loving friend and her companion, Shawn Irizarry of Patterson; her parents, Frank, Sr. and Juanita Griffin of Patterson; five sisters, Brenda Dugar, Lorette (Glen) Landry & Sheila (Melvin) Scott all of Patterson, Dinah (Eric) Morse of Morgan City & Pamela (Shelby) Ruffin of Berwick; two brothers, Frank, Jr.(Jackie) Griffin of Verdunville and Alvin (Virginia) Griffin of Patterson; three godsisters, Florence Washington, Lynette and Annette Williams, one goddaughter, Dwan Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her little angel, Maya Rutherford and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
