A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, LA, 70360 (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all visitors must wear face coverings in building at all times and practice social distancing). Burial will follow in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Wilson; son, Kedric Wilson (Candace); daughters, Kristian Bob and Kershal Wilson; grandchildren, Kaiden Wilson, Jonas and Kerigan Bob; godchildren, Latainia Young and Erinique Wilson; brothers, Clyde Brent (Roxanne), Michael and James Brent, Jr.; sisters, Wilane Hall (Vince) and Shortel Brent; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James, Sr. and Pearline Chatman Brent; brother, Walter Brent, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Walter Brent and Eliza Price; maternal grandparents, Samuel Chatman and Willann Davenport; and son-in-law, Elijah Bob.
