A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Freddie Richardson; son, Di'Erron Richardson; daughter, Brittney Richardson; ten grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Ray (Leroy), Johnnie Edwards, Nadine Davis (Travers), Julie Short (Warmouth), Sandra Williams (Charles), Cheryl Cleveland (Raymond), Gayle Johnson and Winnie Joseph; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert, Sr. and Gertie Simmons Johnson; siblings, George, Jr. and Dexter Smith; Albert Johnson, Jr., Keith Simmons, Lucille Dock, Carolynn Davis and Janelle Johnson.
