Calidonia (Cal) Johnson Williams, 89 a native of Terrebonne parish resident of Gibson, LA.

Visitation at New St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2766 Hwy 311, Schriever, LA 70395 from 9am -10am. Visitation 11am until hour of service, 12pm at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St., Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Calidonia leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her memory: her daughter Latrovia Williams of Gibson, LA; stepchildren Chris Williams of Thibodaux, LA, Craig (Traci) Williams, Cynthia (John) Humphrey, Jacquelyn Artry of California and Carolyn Victorian of Texas; grandchildren Devon and Dy’Shaun Williams, Acienne Scott, Terry Scott Jr. (Kristi), Timothy (Danelle) Wolfe Sr., Quintin VanBuren, and Ashley (Bertrand) Stoves; siblings Henry Johnson, Dollie Petit, Ella Washington, and Jake Johnson; godchildren Kathryn Gassery, Sarah and Tammy Marshall; as well as 14 great-grandchildren, a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other love ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Williams; children Teddie (Tammy) Woodard, Danny Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Marshall Gullage, and Patrick Williams; stepchildren Sheila Williams and Woodrow Williams; parents Thomas and Celestine Miller Johnson; and siblings Virgie Walker, Gail Diggs, Olivia Castle, Williams Miller Sr., Louis Johnson, Josephine Johnson, Mable Thomas, Thomas Johnson Jr., Robert Winn Sr., and Mary Lee (Ruby) Johnson.

May Calidonia’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn while celebrating the remarkable life she lived so fully—a life defined by grace that continues to inspire even in its absence.
