Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM until celebration of life at 11:00 AM at St. John Baptist Church 413 Teche Lake Road New Iberia, LA, Pastor D'Andre J. Cross, Sr., presiding. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin, LA.

Mr. Cross leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Delores A. Cross, a son, Don A. (Maria) Cross, his daughter, Kimberly R. (Otis) Cross-Brent, two brothers, Ernest Harrison and Edgar (Patricia) Harrison, sisters, Glenda (Isaiah) Savage, Thelma (Marshall) Coleman, Joyce (Theopolis) Jones, five grandchildren, Pastor D'Andre J. (Johnise) Cross, Sr., Marcus A. Cross, Taylor N. Cross, Layla E. Brent, Lacy E. Brent, great grandchildren, Chasmine R. (Job) Blackwell, Dyllan A. Cross, D'Andre J. Cross, II, a great-great grandchild, Sky J.R. Blackwell, a brother-in-law, Larry (Jill) Silas, sister-in-law, Robin Cross, a special daughter, Holly (Ray) Navy Provost, god-children, Monica Hamilton Blackstone, Kimberly R. Griffen, Antiona Verrett-Gunner, along with a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Cross, Sr., mother, Mary Taylor Cross, four brothers, Samuel Cross, Jr., Earl Cross, James Cross, Howard Cross, Sr. and two sisters, Mary Lee Small and Irma Lee Cross.
