

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 1101 Main St., Franklin, La. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Officiating, Bro. Charles Spann.
Memories of "Carrie Mae," as she was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of two sons, Jermaine Conley (Ambra) and Charles Madison, Sr. both of Franklin, LA; two daughters, Mary Mitchell (Quentin) of Spring, TX and Tessie Brown (Vanshonne) of Franklin, LA; two daughters she helped to rear, Stephanie Daniels (Joe) of Patterson, LA and Sarah Hopkins of Franklin, LA; one brother, Eddie Butler (Virginia) of Houston, TX; three sisters, Mary Ellen Butler of Houston, TX and Leotha Rudolph and Mary Ann Polidore both of Franklin, LA; one god-child, Hannah Williams of Franklin, LA; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Butler, Sr. and Emmaline Butler-Polidore; one great-grandchild, Tyrielle Tillman; her stepfather, Paul Polidore; three brothers, Louis Butler, Jr., Henry Butler and Eugene Butler; two sisters, Delores Butler Harris and Emma Jean Conley; one aunt, Celestine Glaze Webster; three uncles, Wilbert Turner, Eddie Turner and Roosevelt Calhoun; grandparents, Julia Washington and Ed Katlin; two brothers-in-law; Freddie Conley, Sr. and Reed Rudolph, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Doris Ann Butler and six nephews, Stanley Butler, Corey Conley, Donovan Rudolph, Jr., Donovan Matthew, Lonnie Rudolph and Jerome Rudolph, Jr.
