Catherine "Cat" Lawson

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 am. on Tuesday, June 21 at Residence Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Rising Sun Baptist Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Tyrone Lawson (Brandi) and Corey D. Williams (Erin); foster daughters, Sharotta and Dyanthalyn "Netty" Butler; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;  brothers, Anderson Harding (Tamara), Thomas Hawkins, Jr., Thomas Morgan, Leonard Brown and Lee York; sisters, Beverly W. Lyons (Warnell), Lois H. Barrow (Lawrence), JoAnn and Theressa Hawkins;  and brother-in-law, Lionel Jones, Sr..

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Williams-Harding (Anderson, Sr.); father, Thomas Hawkins, Sr.; stepfather, Jessie York; brothers, Chester and John Hawkins; sisters, Earline H. Jones and Agnes W. Nells; nephews, Dwayne A. Jones, Sr. and Jeremie Barrow.
