Catherine Stewart, age 66, a resident of Houma, La., died at her residence Friday, January 11, 2013 at 3:55 PM. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Luke Baptist Church-Bayou Black, from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Catherine was Housekeeping Supervisor for Best Western. Catherine leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Beatrice McKinley Smith, two sons, Anthony Stewart(Tracy), and Harold D. Stewart; two daughters, Jada M. Stewart and Suzette Stewart and her companion, Rene; three brothers, Bertel Stewart (Virginia), Arthur Smith (Debra) and James Stewart; three sisters, Jean C. (Gatley) Virgin, Shelia (Thomas) Butler and Juanita Pharr; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Andrew Stewart, and two brothers, Harold Stewart and Wayne Stewart. Catherine loved fishing, bowling and singing.
