Chad Travis Ingram

A viewing for Chad will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, 230 S Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. Viewing will also be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Morning Star Baptist Church, 4101 LA-308, Raceland, LA 70394. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery, 4101 LA-308, Raceland, LA 70394.

He was born at Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA on December 22, 1978, to Debra Thompkins and the late Larry Ingram Sr. Wherever there was an event going on, if Dicky was present the was the life of that event. He was loved by many! And known as a jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn’t do or fix.

He would see you and make a joke to put a smile on your face! He had a good heart, and his generosity had NO LIMITS.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Larry Ingram Sr., a brother, Robert Ingram, grandfather, David Thompkins Sr., grandmothers, Carnis David, Irma Lee Coleman and Florence Fountain.

He leaves to cherish many memories his wife; Lizzie Ingram and devoted friend; Tierra Atkins, his daughters; Chasity Lewis and Makayla Ingram, his loving mother; Debra Thompkins, brothers; Larry (Joffri) Ingram Jr., Barry Ingram and Joshua (Beonca) Ingram Sr., sister; Tarlene, Pamela and Larrilon Ingram and Katina (Steven) North, one grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
