Charles "IRONMAN" Michael McCurtis

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Unity One Baptist Church 8256 Hwy 182 Franklin, LA 70538, from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow funeral services in the New Providence Church Cemetery in Centerville. Services will be accessible by logging on to the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 16, 2022. 

Memories of Charles will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Michael McCurtis of Humble, TX, Trinity McCurtis of Lafayette, LA, Rick McCurtis of Verdunville, LA, Qunicy (Regina) James of Fort Worth, TX and April James of Franklin, LA; his mother, Rose McCurtis; siblings, Donald (Debra) McCurtis, Anthony (Christine) Taylor, Cynthia McCurtis, Christenella McCurtis, Lisa (Earl) Francis, Stephen McCurtis, Dwayne (Julie) McCurtis all of Franklin, LA and Losangeles McCurtis-King of Kingwood, TX; eighteen grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. 

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. McCurtis; brother, Allen C. McGandy; paternal grandparents, Robert McCurtis, Sr. and Mary Matthews McCurtis; maternal grandparents, Nelson Yarber, Sr. and Ethel Yarber; three aunts, three uncles, and two nieces.
