Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Williams Ruffin; sons, Charlie Ruffin, Jr. (Ginger) and Terrence Ruffin, Sr.; daughter, Jessica Ruffin; nine grandchildren; mother, Helen Ruffin; brothers, Jerry Ruffin and Elvin Ruffin (Sandra); sister, Ann Antoine (Nester); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terrell Ruffin, Sr.; grandson, Terrell Ruffin, Jr.; granddaughter, Kiara Ruffin; ; father, Ervin Ruffin; brother, Barry Ruffin; sister, Rita Ruffin; paternal grandparents, James and Bernice Ruffin; maternal grandparents, Charley and Naomi Johnson-Picou.
