A public viewing will be conducted from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Triumph Baptist Church, 6313 Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, LA 70356. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Valentine (Carl), Keeva Nichols, (Roger, Sr.) and Kema Matthews (Jeffery, Sr.); five grandchildren; brother, Joseph Stewart, Jr.; sisters, Jeannie Stewart, Eartha Johnson, Rosetta Jones, Penny Kennedy and Maria Ward; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, Sr. and Rosetta Ballard Stewart; brothers, Roosevelt, Sr. and Michael Stewart; and sister, Vivian Young.
