Connie Lee Calloway, a resident of Houma, LA. was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was born to the late Befort Calloway Sr. and Evelyn Neville Calloway on November 20, 1953. She was baptized at an early age by Rev J.H. Thompson. She loved music and she loved eating good food.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Oneal Calloway; sisters, Bernadine H. Smith, Shirley H. Brown, Gail H. LaGarde, Olivia C. Wallace, and Pamela C. Banks; Brothers, Rashid Shareef and Michael Calloway and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Befort Calloway and Evelyn N. Calloway, sister Renetta C. Verrett, brother Befort Calloway Jr., nieces Sana Shareef, Kahaleela Isom and Leslie Banks, nephews Mark Verrett and Andre Calloway, great-nephew Andre Calloway Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10 AM in the Union Benevolent Cemetery.
