Connie V Goodwin

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 1621 Main St., Patterson, LA., from 11:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

On January 12, 2023 the world stopped shining so brightly as Connie Vining Goodwin was called home to the Lord. She was born on April 17, 1955 to Junius and Lucille Vining of Morgan City. Connie resided in Morgan City all of her life.

Connie  leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 beautiful children: Donny Goodwin and girlfriend Lynn Guidry of Patterson, David Goodwin of Oceanside, California and her baby: Kimberly Goodwin of Morgan City. She is also survived by granddaughters Raven and Leah Wiggins and their children: Raylene, Evelia and Alora. grandsons: Trent and Blake Lovell and Collin Goodwin. nieces,  Shawlyn Fraughton and Emily Goodwin,  nephews CJ Fish and Eric Goodwin, she  also survived by one aunt, Lydia Broussard.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents Junius and Lucille Vining, sister Lucy Fish and her grandcats: Sparkles, Shadow, Zoe Lynn, Happy, Hobo and Fuzzy.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kimberly and Donny Goodwin to offset funeral expenses.

Connie worked at The Pediatric Clinic for 28 years. She was a devoted Christian, loving mother and all around amazing person. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, furry friends and taking trips to Disney World. She always had an ear or shoulder for anyone in need.
