Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel located at 6775 West Park Ave. in Houma.
She is survived by her sons Asa Nelson Thibodaux (Stacy) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Matthew Thibodaux; daughters, Germaine Verrett of Shreveport, LA and Monica Whitrack of Houma; eleven grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Thibodaux (Lasima) and Michael Scott (Sandra); stepbrothers, Freddie Thibodaux, Jr. and Charles Thibodaux (Sandra); sisters, Gloria Thibodaux and Christine Snapp (Marcus); and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Blakely; parents, Freddie Thibodaux and Lillie Mae Scott; sisters, Cynthia Barrow and Sheila Smith.
