Crystal Lynette Mosely

December 14, 1969 – July 17, 2026

With heavy hearts and loving memories, we celebrate the life of Crystal Lynette Mosely, who peacefully departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 56.

Crystal was born on December 14, 1969, and was a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish. She attended H.L. Bourgeois High School and was known for her easygoing personality and ability to enjoy life's simple moments. Crystal loved relaxing, spending time with those she loved, and creating memories with her family and friends. Her warm spirit and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving children, Crystal Mosely, Samantha Jackson, and her only son, Sam Jackson; her beloved grandchildren, Da'Kwan Price, Aaliyah Price, Ronnie Johnson, and Deondrall Mosely; and a host of cherished godchildren, including Apollonia Jones-Winslono, Ja’won Mosely, Torline Smith, Justice Smith, Laquita Jackson, Gloria Vaisin, Queen Smith, Lashonda Smith, Martin Jones.

Crystal is also survived by her devoted siblings, Octavia (Burt) Bell, Jacqueline Mosely, Mary Mosely, Tiffany McGuire, Frank Lee Mosely Jr., H.T. Mosely, and Robert Nevis Jr., along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Joan Bennett; her father, Robert Nevis Sr.; her brother, Travelyn Mosely; her brother, Robert Nevis Jr.; her godchild, Martin Jones; and her sister, Charlene Mosely Franklin.

Though Crystal has departed from this earthly life, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew her forever. Her legacy of love, laughter, and family will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

The Mosely family will be honoring the life and legacy of Crystal privately.
