Darlene Parker, age 48, a resident of Franklin and a native of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, October 16th at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, La at 1:04 PM. Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, Friday, October 22nd from 2:00 PM - 5:00 Pm. Funeral will be held at Israelite Divine Spiritual Church of Christ #2 in Four Corner, La., Saturday, October 23rd, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Charenton, La. Darlene leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Karl Wayne Parker, Sr. of Franklin; three sons, Karl Wayne Parker, Jr., De'Bon Parker and Jarvis Parker all of Franklin; three daughters, Jocklene Parker, Che'Kerra Parker and Khadijah Parker all of Franklin; and one brother, Derek Monette of Kissimmee, Fla; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
