David ""Jay/Porkchop"" Polidore, age 52, a native of Garden City, La., and a resident of Centerville, La., died Friday November 7, 2014 at 8:55 PM in Garden City, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Mount Zion Baptist Church 307 Second Street in Franklin, LA., from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery -Main Street in Franklin, LA. Minister Noah Smith will officiate the services. ""Porkchop"" leaves to cherish his memories one son, David Devester Provost of Franklin, LA; his loving mother, Oraline Kelly Polidore of Centerville, LA; four brothers, Floyd Polidore, Malcolm Polidore, Norman Polidore, and Roman Polidore all of Centerville, LA; two sisters, Gayle (Bryan) Cooks and Wanda Polidore both of Franklin, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Polidore, Sr., one brother, Raymond Polidore, Jr. and one sister, Mallory Polidore.
