David Burden ""Toad/Troy"" Valentine, age 44, a native and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center at 11:59 AM. David was an active member of the Senior Choir, Sunday School Class and The Tri City Community Choir. Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Officiating, Rev. C.F. Smith, Pastor. David AKA Toad or Troy leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter, Shardae Pittman of Lafayette, La., a brother, Daniel (Christine) Valentine, Jr., of Morgan City, La., a sister, Charlette (Alfred) Bartholomew of Morgan City, La., two uncles, Ulysses (Sarah) Jupiter and Herbert (Lillie Mae) Valentine, and a host of relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Valentine, Sr., and Virginia Jupiter Valentine, two sisters, two brothers, a nephew and a great nephew.
