Delvin Lashawn Guy

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the New Life Christian Center 207 Bayard Street New Iberia, LA 70560 from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM., with Reverend Arthur Lee Alexander and Reverend Chester Hills officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery of Jeanerette, LA.

Memories of Delvin will forever remain in the hearts of his son, Karson Romero of Youngsville, LA; five brothers, Donald Guy and his wife Theresa of Youngsville, LA, Travis Guy and his wife, Ursula of Jeanerette, LA, Terry Rubbins, Jr. of Columbus, OH, Taj Rubbins-Arceneaux and his wife Rhonda of Texas City, TX and Trevon Rubbins of Houston, TX; three sisters, Jamasian Guy of New Iberia, LA, TeLania Rubbins and Tanya Rubbins-Chaney and her husband Michael all of Houston, TX; twelve nieces, nine nephews and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Delvin was preceded in death by his parents, Linda Guy and Terry Rubbins, Sr.; maternal and paternal grandparents, Douglas and Eldora Guy and Schuyler Johnson and Florence Rubbins Jackson; three aunts, Daisy Mae Romar, Debra Rubbins and Christene Alexander and two uncles, George Romar and Willie Rubbins.
