Dolores J Jackson, age 85, a native and a resident of Patterson, LA died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1:10 PM at Teche Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Patterson Cemetery. Dolores leaves to cherish her two daughters; Daughters, Linda Denise Francis - husband Lawrence, Patterson, LA., and Sandra Marie Bates - husband Jeffery Bates, Sr., Virginia Beach, VA; a granddaughter - India Inez Francis, Columbia, SC; and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Johnson and Pearlie Washington Johnson, and her husband.
