Visitation will be observed on Saturday, October 21, 2016 at New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, La. from 12 Noon until funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow funeral services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, LA. Reverend Samuel Calhoun will officiate services.
Memories of "Paps," as he was known to many, will forever be remembered in the hearts of his loving mother, Ella Mae Triggs-Bennett; one daughter, Nakeithia Bennett; two brothers, Ronald (Patrticia) Bennett and Roderick Bennett; two sisters, Susan Bennett (Ripton Lindsay), Angela (Kevin) Johnson all of Patterson, LA; one grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Dona;d Gene Bennett, Sr., and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
