Donald Ray Vilo, Sr.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, LA, from 9:00 AM until funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Patrick T. Jones, officiating.  (Per CDC requirement/local regulations everyone is required to wear face masks upon entering into the building at all times). Inurnment will take place at a later date in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Services will be accessible virtually by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 1, 2021.

Memories of Donald Sr., will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Veronica Lynn Vilo; his children, Shamika Vilo (Earnest Ware), Donald Vilo, Jr. (Alexia Rossyion), Austin Vilo, II (Shantelle Roberts) all of Lafayette, LA and Alegra Vilo of Morgan City, LA; his siblings, Cheryl Vilo of Lafayette, LA, Cynthia Vilo and Denise Broussard both of Patterson, LA, Marion Gibbs of Lake Charles, LA and Shirley Vilo of Chicago,, IL; grandchildren; an aunt, Diane Johnson of Patterson, LA; an uncle, Dr. James Valeau (Vilo) of CA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Donald Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Austin B. Vilo, Jr. and Ethel Hawkins Vilo; one sister, Carolyn Vilo Augman and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
