

Our beautiful baby boy, Drue Morales, was delivered and departed this life on July 17, 2025 at 0505 weighing 14.5 ounces and 10 inches long. His arrival was much too soon, but our love for him will last a lifetime.
Drue is survived by his parents, Manuel and Bethany Morales; his grandparents, Michael and Dr. Lori Gardiner, Blaine and Tammy Clay, and Ana Julia Escobar. His great-grandfather Major Joseph L. Williams (Ret); his godmothers Brianna Clay and Ana Campbell (Malcolm) and godfathers Brandon Williams (Malori) and Jorge Brito (Jamie); his great-aunts Dr. Karen Williams (Dionne) and Dr. Melissa Clay (Chad), Dr. Angel Clay, Olga Parada, and Coya Cruz (Jose'), Maria Vasquez (Fermin), His great-uncles, Dwayne Clay, Ricado Escobar (Lavelle) and Anthony Williams Sr (Ekaterina), and a host of cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joaquin Morales, his great-grandmothers Mary Williams, Audrey Clay, and Gloria Parada; and great-grandfather Rev. Blaine Clay and great uncles Aquileo Parada, Wallace S. Thomas Sr, Leroy Thomas Sr. and close cousins.
The family would like to thank the L&D nurses of Terrebonne General Medical Center, Walk with Grace, Born with Angel wings, and Moms of Hope. We sincerely appreciate the care and compassion shown by Dr. Elena Mann, Dr Erin Pennison, and Dr. Richard Clement.
