Earl "Bud" Bolden, Sr.

A public viewing will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elise Mae Trosclair Bolden; sons, Earl Bolden, Jr. (Jina), Keith Bolden, Sr. (Miriam) and Mark Bolden (Cheryl); daughters, Renee L. Bolden and Angelia East (Lionel); twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his children, Marizetta "Missy" and Carnel Henry Bolden; two grandchildren; parents, Chester, Sr. and Bertha Moses Bolden; stepfather, Andrew Jenkins; brothers, Heard "Charlie Boy", Alfred, and Chester "Butch" Bolden; sister, Lois B. Clay; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Lizie Simmons Bolden; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ella Moses.
