Earl J Rhodes

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18 at Moses Baptist Church, 1032 Canal Blvd in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Theresa Rhodes; sons, David Rhodes, Sr. (Shannon), Brian Rhodes, Adrian Rhodes (Wendy); daughters Valencia R. Pierre, Andrea and Tremaine Rhodes; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Thomas Rhodes, Sr.; sisters, Eula Pearl Emmanuel and Lilian R. Johnson (Earl).

He was preceded in death by his parents Madison and Maggie Rhodes; brothers Edward, James, Aaron and Lloyd Rhodes; sisters, Fabiola and Thelma Rhodes, Erma Young, Gertie Mae Johnson, Victoria Jones, Lisker Wagner and Elouise Peltier.

He was employed with the US postal service for 36 years, was a US Army veteran and a Mason in the St. Joseph #15 Lodge.
