Earl ""Pop"" Tyler, age 65, a resident of Charenton, La., died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in the Teche Waterway in Charenton, La., at 6:45 PM. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Noon at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Charenton, La..Earl leaves to cherish his memories; a son, George Peters; a daugther, Latrail Tyler; three brothers, Alton Tyler and Alvin (Anita) Tyler both of Port Arthur, Tx. and Melvin Tyler of Charenton, La.; four sisters, Mary (Oliver) Lowe of Port Arthur, Tx., Elnora Hawkins, Josephine (Paul) Zachary, and Debra Dominick all of Charenton, La.; a set of special caretakers, his niece and nephew, Stephanie and Warren Nicholas of Charenton, La., and a host of other relatives and friends. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Tyler, Sr. and Effie Keal Tyler; two brothers, and one sister.
