A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the New First Corinthian Baptist Church, 1114 Church St., Houma. LA. Burial will follow in the Crozier Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Edward Lewis, Oliver, Angilique, Katrina, and Jessie Washington; seven grandchildren; siblings, Stephanie Fusilier, Kathy Warren, Alberta Carter, Mary Brown, Cementra Wolfe, Jeanette White, Mary Messiah, Edward, Kenneth, Amy, Leola, Donna and Teeka Swing; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aungalee Jardonney Washington; parents, Arthur, Sr. and Abbie Mae Taylor Swing; brothers, Arthur, Jr., John Paul and Freddy Swing.
