A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S Hollywood Road in Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the New Rising Sun Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Davis Williams; one son; sister, Linda Williams Rashad (David); a host of grandchildren and other relatives/friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Annie Walker Williams; brothers, Andrew, Albert and James Williams, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Eddie Williams (Alice and Earline); maternal grandparents, Gus and Ella Walker.
