

On Friday, November 28, 2014, God sent his angel to the Belle Teche Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in New Iberia, LA at 7:27 PM to deliver Elizabeth Lockette Williams Joseph, age 82, a resident of Jeanerette, Louisiana to her eternal resting place.
Visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday December 6, 2014 at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 11200 Old Jeanerette Road, Jeanerette, LA 70544, with a rosary being recited at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dismas Mauk, SVD serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Rosary Church cemetery.
Cherished and divine memories will forever be rembered by her loving and devoted husband, Milton Joseph Jr. of Jeanerette, LA; four daughters, Shirley Williams-Haggray, Janice Williams and Ava Williams-Richard (Carl Sr.) all of New Iberia, LA and Felicia Williams-Brown of Savannah, GA; three sons, Antonial Lamar Williams, Francis Reginald Williams and Kenneth "Ronto" Williams all of Jeanerette, LA; three step-daughters, Karen Joseph Harrison (Nelson) and Sandra Joseph both of Lafayette, LA and Pamelor Joseph-Senegal (Percy) of Rayne, LA; one step-son; Milton Joespeh, III (Kathy) of Carencro, LA; four sisters, Dorothy Prevost of Oakland, CA, Savannah Bing of Jeanerette, LA, Aldonia Charles of Franklin, LA and Evelyn Rhodes of Houston, TX; three brothers, Louis Lockette Jr. (Rev. Dr. Lille Mae) of Jeanerette, LA, Raymond Lockette of Charenton, LA and Lionel Lockette (Sylvia) of New Iberia, LA; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Joseph was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Leola Jacquot-Lockette; her first husband, Griffin Williams, Sr.; two sons, Griffin Williams, Jr. and Darrell Williams; one daughter-in-law, Brenda B. Williams; three sisters, Rose Lockette, Rita L. Jones-Copper and Ruby Sweat; three grandchildren, Towanda Roberts, Tyrone Brown and CJ Richard and one step-grandson, Samuel Udomeh
