A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 146 Banks Street in Houma, LA. Entombment will follow in the Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Emmett W. Carr, Sr. and Niya Norris; brothers, Ro'kiz Norris and Emane' Carr; sisters, Rogernay O'Neal and Xayane Ross; paternal grandparents, Ellis Carr, Sr. (Janice); maternal grandparents, William Nells, Jr. (Annie) and Charles Simmons, Sr. (Althea); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ja'mej Pierre; sister, Sha'niya Norris; maternal great-grandparents, Minerva Nixon, and August (Ruth) Simmons; paternal great-grandparents, Willie B. (J.C.) Carr and Alphonse & Lucille Manning.
