Evelyn Calloway

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Residence Baptist Church, 2605 Isaac St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.

She is  survived by her sons, Rashid Shareef and Michael Calloway; daughters, Bernadine Smith, Shirley Brown, Gail LaGarde (Larry), Renetta Verrett, Connie Calloway, Pamela Banks and Olivia Wallace; twenty-six grandchildren; sixty-seven great grandchildren; twenty-eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bufort Calloway, Sr.; former husband, Cleveland Henderson; son, Bufort Calloway, Jr.; grandchildren, Sana Shareef and Andre Calloway; parents, Yourther and Renet Johnson Neville; brothers, Harrison and Yourther Neville, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Willie and Anna Fitch Neville; maternal grandparents, Anderson and Leah Howard Johnson.
