Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28 at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 1220 Aycock St. Burial will follow in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
She is survived by her son Kenjatta Verdin, Sr.; daughter, Brandy Allen (Trent); nine grandchildren; mother, Geraldine Ellis-Theriot; brother, Craig Theriot; sisters, Sheila Miller (Alfred) and Karen Short (Calvin); and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Leroy Martin Theriot; paternal grandparents, Webster and Virginia Douglas-Theriot; maternal grandparents, Melvin, Sr. and Alma Francisco-Ellis.
