Floyd Edward Ferguson

Funeral Services and Military Honors will be observed on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. Mayor Raymond Harris will officiate the services. Burial will follw services in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Oaklawn, LA.

Floyd was a Veteran of the United States Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge.

Memories of Floyd will forever be remembered in the hearts of his loving wife, Juanita R. Ferguson of Franklin, LA;  six sons, Eric McClain, Terrance McClain, Trevis Ruffin and Anthony Ruffin all of Franklin, La., Floyd Ferguson, Sr.(Pamela) of Houston, TX., Johnny Ruffin of Beaumont, TX; seven daughters, Andrea Ferguson-Roberts (Kawon) and Umekia Harding (Rogernick) both of Carencro, La., Lakesha Colar-Navy (Mallory) of Baldwin, La., Bianca Carey (Carris) of Houston, TX., Natasha Ruffin, Marjorie Ruffin, Ciara Ruffin and Lashaun Ruffin (Harold) all of Franklin, La; two brothers, Shannon Ferguson and Renard Hawkins both of Franklin, La; two sisters, Linda Delasbour of Franklin, La., and Janice Francis of North Carolina;  twenty grandchildren; four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Beulah Ferguson; a grandson, K'Mon R. Ruffin; one brother Sylvester Ferguson, a niece Carmalita Ferguson and a nephew Corey Ferguson.
